Individual Therapy Sessions

Break Free. Speak Up. Stand Strong.

Rediscover Your True Self

And calm the chaos in life

Many people lose themselves because they’re trying to be what other people want them to be.

Having a smile plastered to their face is only a mask to the overwhelm they feel inside.

Constantly giving to others gets in the way of the life they really want.

If you’re ready to learn to say “no” and still feel like a good person but don’t know where to start - let’s talk.

I work with adults in Utah, Virginia, Ohio, Texas, Washington, and Nebraska. So they can feel grounded, calm and confident to speak up, break free and stand strong.

Can you imagine living in harmony with your true self?

My One-on-One Individual Therapy session dives deep into your behaviors and thoughts, providing tailored strategies to unshackle you from the chains of conformity.

Individual therapy sessions give us the opportunity to unpack what’s going on and get to the root of the problem.

This personalized therapy allows you to get real, lasting results. And empowers you with tools and techniques that allow you to break free, to live authentically, and to grow in your journey of self-discovery and fulfillment.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a technique I use to guide my clients to use because of its incredible results.

Any Questions About My Counseling Services?

  • My rates are

    • All therapy sessions are a full 60 minutes: $160 per session.

Additional session lengths are offered upon request.

  • Yes, I provide online therapy. Online therapy is the most convenient way to get the help you need from wherever you are. I provide a user-friendly & HIPPA-compliant platform for video sessions. I’ve worked with many clients who choose online therapy due to busy schedules, ease of use, or because walking into a counseling office can feel overwhelming. In Utah, this can also come in handy on days when weather bottlenecks our roads. It also means I can easily help clients living in Ohio, Nebraska, Virginia, Washington, and Texas, where I’m licensed to practice.

  • My license allows me to work with people who live in the states I am licensed in. I’m licensed to practice in Utah, Ohio, Nebraska, Virginia, Washington, and Texas. If you live in a small community, you may not have many providers. Perhaps the therapist-specific skill set you are seeking cannot be found locally, or the community is so small you personally know the therapists, and you want a different perspective, I can help.

  • Clients who experience the best results with me come to therapy ready to work. They do their best to have good follow-through as well as work hard in and out of sessions. They appreciate and find value in my kind and straightforward approach. I am direct and do not tip-toe around an issue which can help us get to the root of a problem. Many of my previous clients have provided feedback that my approach is refreshing and not as passive as their previous therapists have been with them. I keep it real and enjoy a laugh with a client, and I appreciate a client who does the same. They also understand that I do not have a magic wand!

  • Whether you want a combination of online and in-office sessions or you prefer to work with me exclusively online or in person, I want you to be comfortable with the next steps. You will start off by calling or sending a message to schedule your free, no-obligation, 20-minute phone consultation. During the call, you can ask questions, and I will ask you some questions so we can see if we are a good fit. If we feel like we are a good fit, we can schedule our initial session at that time. Once we have an appointment scheduled, I will email you a link to access intake paperwork. You can fill this out at your leisure prior to our first session.

All therapy sessions are 60 minutes. This allows time to thoroughly discuss your current situation, the challenges you are facing, the direction you would like to take in treatment, and privacy and confidentiality. Subsequent sessions are also 60 minutes weekly or bi-weekly to build momentum (this is also specific to your needs and can be adjusted accordingly). I am a proactive therapist. I often provide items for you to work on between sessions in order to help you achieve your goals.

  • The answer is it depends. As I mentioned, I consider myself a proactive therapist, so I want to get you what you need as quickly as possible. However, everyone’s circumstances are unique, and the length of time therapy can take depends on numerous factors, including your desire for personal development, your history, your commitment, and the reasons you are seeking therapy in the first place. Most of my clients see the progress within a few short months.

  • I don’t participate in insurance panels at this time. I am considered an out-of-network provider. If the cost of counseling seems to be out of reach, consider the following:

Use pre-tax dollars. Did you know that you can use your Health Savings (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for therapy using pre-tax dollars?

If you have out-of-network coverage with your insurance, I can provide a “Superbill”, which you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Counseling is an investment in you. If you compare the short-term financial cost of therapy to the possible long-term emotional costs of not seeking help. The benefits far outweigh the risks.

  • I accept cash, checks, debit cards, Health Savings and Flex Spending cards (HSA/FSA) and all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept direct payment through my HIPPA-compliant client platform.

  • If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
